i have a spammy projectile, regular A spam,reflecto shield, wings WHAT DONT I HAVE!!


i mean really pit spams alot!

4 words i hate pit SPAM- lol its true most pit players just side b and neutral b you the whole fight

I use to use pit when i first started playing brawl but know that i noticed he is a spammer!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

and that reflect shield is so annoying when you are recovering. it bounces you backwards

please jikek, it snot that bad, its like a bad version of mario's cape for doing that. start bitching about cape b4 you start on it, i have never seena pit try and do that, ever.

i have, like with wolf's recover sometimes u have to go above the edge so he uses it and u screwed because side b wont let u move.

wait, like he already has the shield out and it completely stops you? i was under the impression it was a damage blocker and a reflector, but only caped on the first part of him pulling out the shield.

it seems like he had the shield out for quite awhile, maybe it just seemed like a long time.

I really don't like pit, but he does have a noticeable weakness. If you can hit him while he's using wings of icarus, he can't use it again. So hit him in the air!

yea pit isnt that good at air battles, compared to some chars, but at a distance he can major spam with his arrows.

Pits a good character

just because a player spams with him isnt a reason to hate him

yes the majority do spam side b and b but youll get that with most other people

he has strong points as i belive most of you have said he has reflecting moves so he can stop range spam
he has good recovery move unless you get hit
i found his smashs not the best but good
i spam people to annoy them

Almighty Doc makes a good point, i personally dont like pit, but as a character, he is perfectly fine, in practice not so much. much like my slightly less drastic hatrid of lucas. i have nothing against the characters, just how many play them. its like bitching about sheik in melee, she is good, no ****...and?

EDIT:pits down b can block samus's final smash until the last hit. use the shield and hit up while still holding b, pit will tilt the shield up so his feet are exposed, but his head is not. then samus uses her final smash, and the shield takes care of it except for the last hit which deals 16%.
oh and you can tilt pits down b up a bit, which covers pit against more attacks but it no longer reflects straight back at your opponent.

To be honest i've never played a spamming pit so i dont know waht you guys are going on about him being a spammer.

Pit also has a Meteor Smash, his down tilt.

yeah an impossible and worthless meteor smash. there is no reason to try for it EVER unless you are getting a peach using the parasol.

Jeez, I'm just trying to add to the conversation. It is not completely worthless. Link has practicly the same one, and with practice you can possible do a combo such as this.

O.o holy sh!t mgos, that combo was pretty sweet. HOWEVER, given pits movesetl, such a feat would be near impossible in an actual match. i am merely stating, that even though it does spike, attempting to is HIGHLY SITUATIONAL.

mgos, i agree with kyn for once. with pit's moveset it would be very un-likely for someone to do that at a given moment. the only one that is somewhat easy to use is ike's

With enough practice, it could work in a battle situation, sure I've only gotten it to work once, but you can always practice and try your best at it.

There are about maybe 7-8 throughout the entire video. It is rare but effective.

touche mgos, touche. i have seen that video and completely spaced out when making my previous comments. sorry snarf, we are wrong, it has use, but it wont be the basis of ko's. its something that should be attempted when valid, since it is a very fast attack that is difficult to punish. mgos, you have earned some respect in my book.

yes it is. there is no arguement otherwise. pits is one of the more difficult dtilt spikes as well, but it has power to back it up. i would say the second easiest dtilt spike is zelda's, but its a weak one. enough to take down link, ganon, dk, bowser, those guys, but you wont be taking out rob or anything.
