Captain Falcon
Historical Background
His real name is Douglass Jay Falcon, he is an F-Zero Racer who drives
the Blue Falcon marked with a number 7 on it's side. He is also a
renowned bounty hunter as well as a pilot. Once, his DNA was stolen,
to create a clone named the Blood Hawk, his appearance is shown as a
trophy in Brawl and as one of Captain Falcon's alternative Costumes.
He has been an easter egg in more games than one, his Racer and
Samurai Goroh's appearing in Super Mario RPG, Falcon's boots to
be worn by Falcon in one of the endings in Star Fox Command, and his
racer is a "Kart" playable in Mario Kart Wii.

Fighting Style
===============
Falcon's play style isn't as unique as Marths but isn't
as generic as Ike's, he's somewhere in between. You see,
he lacks projectiles, which limits his usage heavily, so to make
up for that you have two types of play styles to choose from.
- Bash and Trash Style
Well, that's my nickname for it. Do as it says, don't give your
opponent time to think, keep at him relentlessly.
- Wait and Punish
On many characters, this may be your style. Wait for them to attack,
dodge, punish. Wait, dodge, punish. Keeps going in a cycle.
Choose the style that best fits your opponent. For example, say
your fighting Meta-Knight, you can't just run in there recklessly,
you need to wait till he's open. Likewise, if your Brawling a DK,
he's so slow, your able to smash him around without much fear.
If you're like most people, you'll do a combination of the two styles.
Move Set
==========================
Standard Attacks
==========================
Neutral A - Jab, Jab, Knee
Damage: 3%, 2%, 6%
His standard attack with little to no knock back. The first hit
can combo very easily into other attacks. You press A three times
to get the second Jab and Knee.
--------------------------
Hold A after the "Jab, Jab, Knee" - Turbo Punch
Damage: 2% per hit
I can trap unsuspecting people, giving them up to 50%
total if they're not careful.
--------------------------
Running Attack - Body Check
Damage: 8%
A decent, quick acting move.
--------------------------
++++
+Tilts+
++++
--------------------------
Tilt Up - 180 Degree kick
Damage: 13%
Has decent Knock back and can KO at high damages.
--------------------------
Tilt Forward - Kick
Damage: 10%
A standard kick. Used to be his Smash Attack in the original SSB.
--------------------------
Tilt Downward - Ground Kick
Damage: 10%
It is a relatively fast move that many people take for granted. It has
fair knock back with the ability to juggle them, if only a little bit.
--------------------------
+++++++++++
+Smash Attacks+
+++++++++++
--------------------------
Smash Forward - Elbow Of Judgment
Damage: 19%-26% (Fire Element)
His standard smash attack, it is slow, but powerful. And has a decent
range.
--------------------------
Smash Upward - Double Upper Kick
Damage: 8%-13% First Hit, 13%-19%
A nice smash that works well with the "Sliding Up Smash" Trick. The
first hit is meant to combo into the second one, so sometimes, the
second hit may miss. The second hit delivers the knock back, not
the first hit.
--------------------------
Smash Downward - Double Ground Kick
Damage: 18%-25%, 16%-22%
He kicks in front of him then back. All in all, this is one of
Falcon's most Valuable smash attacks mostly because of it's range, and
knockback.
============================
Aerials
============================
Neutral Aerial - Double Kick
Damage: 4%, 6%
Captain Falcon kicks twice in the air, the first hit combo's into the
second hit. The second hit is the hit with the knock back.
--------------------------
Forward Aerial - Knee Smash
Damage: 3%, 19% if sweetspotted
One of Falcon's best Aerials, if you can hit the sweetspot. The
sweetspot is granted great knockback plus, lots of damage.
--------------------------
Back Aerial - Backhand
Damage: 14%
A quick hit with good damage and knockback.
--------------------------
Upward Aerial - Upward Flip Kick
Damage: 10%-13%
This move can rack up damage easily, it does not have much KO
potential, but after all, this move is meant for combo-ing, no KOing.
--------------------------
Downward Aerial - Falcon Stomp
Damage: 14%
Be careful with this move, it leaves C. Falcon vulnerable during the
beginning and ending of this move. BUT it is a very powerful meteor
smash that can KO easily. Just be cautious when using it.
==============================
Specials
==============================
Neutral Special - Falcon Punch(Fire Element)
Damage:27%-28%
Captain Falcon ALWAYS pulls his punches, and this one, packs a punch
(no pun intended), there are many situations in which Falcon Punch
will solve. You can also Press the opposite direction at the start of
the punch to do a 180 punch, the regular hit has a lot of knockback.
The 180 punch does even more knockback. It is used well in mindgames.
------------------------------
Forward Special - Raptor Boost(Fire Element)
Damage: 7%
If used on the ground, C. Falcon preforms an uppercut in either
direction. In the air, Falcon moves a decent amount, but if someone
gets in the way of the attack in the air, they get meteor smashed.
It also deflects many attacks and projectiles.
------------------------------
Upward Special - Falcon Dive(Fire Element)
Damage: 5%, then 12%.
Falcon Jumps up, as a recovery move, it has decent vertical and horizontal
range. If he grabs someone, he will deal 17% total. 5% for the initial
grab, and 12% for the "Mini-Explosion". If the grab is successful,
he can use Falcon Dive again.
------------------------------
Downward Special - Falcon Kick
Damage: 12%-14%
An okay move. I wouldn't advise using it very often as it has bad
ending lag. He moves about the distance of Raptor Boost in the
direction he's facing. If used in the air, he will move downward at
a slight angle but it gives him even more ending lag.
===========================
Throws
===========================
Attack while having grabbed an opponent
Damage: 1%-2% per hit.
Used to raise damage slightly, the more you use it, the weaker it gets.
------------------------------
Forward Throw
Damage: 8%
Can combo into other moves well.
------------------------------
Downward Throw
Damage: 6%
Captain Falcon bounces his opponent on the ground. Good for combo-ing
into his up aerial.
------------------------------
Backward Throw
Damage: 7%
Nothing Special. You may sometimes forget it's there.
------------------------------
Upward Throw
Damage: 7%
Can combo opponents at low damage.
===============================
Other Moves
===============================
Ledge Attack - Flip Kick
Damage: 10%
Nothing special. Just a ledge attack.
-------------------------------
100% Ledge attack - Punch Swipe
Damage: 10%
Captain Falcon's other ledge attack. It can knock your opponent off
the edge occasionally. But not enough to KO someone.
-------------------------------
Getting Up off the Ground Attack - Spin Kick
Damage: 6%
Just knocks your opponent away from you a little bit. Nothing special
or flashy.
-------------------------------
Trip Attack - Double Punch
Damage: 5% Both hits.
Two punches in both directions. The first hit has slightly greater
knockback than the first, you only can use it after you've tripped.
============================
Final Smash
============================
Blue Falcon
Damage: 10%, then 20%, then 10%.
Captain Falcon calls his racer, the blue falcon. If it hits you,
it will initially hit you with 10% damage, the cinematic sequence will
ensue, and the car will hit the opponent dealing 20%. The final hit
is really never noticed, by it adds a little to the knockback dealing
10% damage. If you are hit with this and you are over 20% damage, you
can kiss that life goodbye.
============================
Advanced Tactics/Other info
============================
Reverse Aerial Rush
-------------------
A tactic that works for all characters, while running, pivot, but
during the animation, jump. You will jump facing backward with the
force of the regular jump. Makes it easy to hit with the Backhand.
Mind games
--------------------
Mind games make up EVERYTHING in brawl, and Falcon is no exception.
Fool around a bit, let your opponent off guard, and once that's done,
pounce on him. Try to confuse your opponent and keep them guessing,
don't become too predictable.
