Items

So, what does everybody think of items? Are they cheap, or do they also involve lots of skill.

I personally like items, but they do have a luck value involved too. I also think that using items is a skill, and that items should be allowed, some of the time.

What do you guys think?

items require skill and i approve of items. i think item tournaments should be more common(they do exist). personally i dont like items, not because they are cheap, but rather because it turns into a throwing contest. who can get the most items and who throws them more. There is luck, i like some items which i would never care if they were on, but they are too few in number to make me have items on at all. like pokeballs, assist trophies, bumpers, green shells. i like items meant to be thrown, because thats what people do anyway. i also like the fan, but i cant have it on or else i will ruin the game for everyone else. haha

haha, well I like items, they even the playing field a little bit for peeps like marth.

Makes matches more interesting some of the time. But it does not demonstrate pure skill.

I like items quite a bit, mostly because I almost never win against Rino without them. cough cough.

No kidding, you just spammed poke balls until you got something that killed me, they kept spawning right next to you, hahaha

never have been fond of items..mostly cuz some ppl rely WAY to much on them. *points to everyone at my school who says there good at brawl* but sometimes when u just want a nice fun match then ill turn some on.

Yeah, in casual matches they're fine. But in tournys or something like that items should be turned off. Unless it's an item tournament or something. =P

personally i just don't like items. i don't really know why.

does anyone here like items more than no items? honestly? no one likes items more. no one.

Items, as I said, make a match more interesting. And therefor, more unpredictable and fun.

Well, as long as you can take getting 3 stocked by Bombs appearing out of nowhere. =S
